Ladies Section

Thorpe Hall has a thriving ladies section who pride themselves on being friendly and welcoming to new members.  With over 100 playing members and 10 girl cadets, our flexible membership categories enable you to play at the weekends or during the week. We cater for those who just want to play socially and for those who want competitive golf.

Ladies usually play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  A full diary of both social and competitive golf is available on these days and at weekends. This provides regular opportunities to play with friends and get to know other ladies. There are mixed events throughout the year, mainly at weekends.

New members, returning golfers, social golfers etc, are very welcome at Thorpe Hall. We also have a twelve month Probationary membership category for those who are new to golf, would like to achieve a handicap and go on to full membership. This is an ideal entrance to golf and has produced three Lady Captains over recent years.

We have 130+ Social Members, these include former playing members. Quite a few of them meet regularly on Tuesday mornings for coffee, or just for a chat. They are all great supporters of golf and social activities. Regular Bridge and Whist Drives and a Bridge League take place during the winter months. Bridge lessons are held on Tuesday afternoons.

So if you would like more information or just want to chat about membership, please contact Iain Evans, General Manager on 01702 582205 or email
